By observing and inviting our surroundings, we become alert and pay attention. The focus on the page invites an inner expansion that might show itself as a surprise, an insight, an aha or a giggle. Journals are a place to express, tend to and enjoy all that flows through your awareness, we simply give it a two dimensional way of expression. Combining drawing of nature, sculpture and architecture with collage and writing opens up infinite possibility! You get to experiment with different techniques and simply go with what flows. Small groups, personal setting, room to breathe. Something magical always happens when people come together to create! We will explore several collaging techniques, drawing of up-close flora and landscape elements, and writing prompts will get the ink flowing onto our journal pages! Bring your favorite journal or purchase a new treasued book of blanks beforehand. Guidelines to be emailed upon registration. Beginners: Fear not. You can do this. Curiosity required, experience not. Experienced artists: Bring your favorite supplies, all mediums welcome provided setup is mobile, we'll be working plein air and inside.
